My Blog Content Has Been Stolen

I recently received the news that content from my website had been duplicated at another site found at this link.  I have contacted Blogger and filed a request to have it removed, but so far I have received nothing but a form email response, and this is now Day Three.

Two years' worth of my blog posts dating back to 2010 have been duplicated (except any mention of my authorship) and all of the accompanying original photos in those posts have been duplicated over at the other site as well.

If anyone has any idea how I might address this, I'd love any ideas.  I left comments at the site alerting the person(s) that I know they took my stuff, but of course have received no response.

JERKS.

Any ideas out there??  I'm furious and will get to the bottom of this somehow...

If you go to the blogger help, there is a way you can file a DMCA notice to complain about copyright infringement (which is what this is Blatantly!!) There is a form to fill out and submit. That may be faster than the 'report abuse' route.

Good luck- hope it helps. I've been wondering how things have been going.

Wow! That's creepy. I wish I knew what to do to help. Maybe now that you've posted a link to their page, showing that you're on to them, they'll voluntarily take it down. I hope so, because that kind of theft is sickening.

Wow; I'm dumbstruck. I didn't know people did this. Why? Wish I could offer some suggestions, but I'm clueless.

OMG! Why would that person do such a thing! I have no idea how to help but I hope you are able to put an end to it.

Oh that is rotten. Talking about it here is a good move, of course letting the thieves know YOU know is the first step. Have you asked your blogging friends to spread the word? I've seen amazing results from that. Good luck!

Judy, thanks, I think I may have to do that ASAP!
Small Farm Girl, me too!!
Wendy, let's see if blogger responds to my copyright complaint...
Michelle...I have no idea why...I can't figure out how they're gaining any money from it.
Melodie...well if I do get some results soon, I'll post about what to do!
Parker, thanks so much for the encouragement...I hope the word does spread..I simply don't know what to do other than what I've done and what Judy suggested, which I'll do right away. Please feel free to spread the word!

Thanks, everyone, for your encouragement...it helps to have folks to complain to :)

This website might help, "What do you do when someone steals your content". Really good thorough article about the steps you need to take to protect your copyright. Copyright laws are in place to protect you and your content...use them. Blessings, Kat
