Little Conversations on the Prairie

  1. Hah! When I told my condo's association president that I had 30,000 worms and two rabbits in my condo, he replied that I am over the pet limit by 30,000. (Then he lauged- he's a food activist and he gets what I'm doing.)

Condo associations are probably much like cockroaches-- they'll still be here long after the rest of us are gone, enforcing teh ruls.

  2. A HOA? Why it is where the devil vacations, silly. It is where people who have nothing better to do than measure other people's grass and stomp out every ounce of happiness go to establish a dictatorship.

  3. I love this things, Robbyn--they give me such a laugh.

I guess our homeowners association is when we all have to get out and cut trees out of the road after a big storm, or help each other get home when the road floods, or pull each other out of ditches and snowbanks.

  5. it seems that everytime i read a post about clotheslines, someone comments that they wish their homeowner's association allowed clotheslines. what would ma and pa think about that?
