That's why I use my breadmaker all the time.

Of course, were' above 7,000 ft elevation and it takes alot of tweaking to get any recipe to work right.Laughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6627749570719712047.post-63214405349220603782008-07-24T10:11:00.000-07:002008-07-24T10:11:00.000-07:00Meadowlark, good, I'm relieved :) What's funny is ...Meadowlark, good, I'm relieved :) What's funny is that I'm not what you'd call a girly-girl, either. I enjoyed keeping animals more than playing with dolls, as a girl, and was such a tomboy...always preferring the outdoors than to what I considered the grind of staying in the house. It wasn't till a few years back that I found I really enjoyed things like bubble baths and candles. I like cooking some things, but never want most of my hours to be spent there. I can't say I've busted up any concrete lately, but that would surely be a great way to work off some stress...heh heh :) I'd wear more skirts and such, but till I lose weight it kind of comes off as matronly, so till then I'll just be barefoot jean girl

You're not longwinded, and I appreciate what you wrote :)Robbynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01860870861321231048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6627749570719712047.post-87481856460138773162008-07-24T08:28:00.000-07:002008-07-24T08:28:00.000-07:00I can only speak for me, but I wasn't offended. I ...I can only speak for me, but I wasn't offended. I struggle with anything that resembles being "girly" although my heart is a total farm-wife heart.

However, my husband is a city boy so I've always tried to be an extra hard worker when it comes to "grunt chores". I think that busting 20 yards of concrete sidewalk by hand makes on forget that they're actually a "woman". :) Oh, and I was a Marine. So I probably still have extra testosterone in my bloodstream ;)

It's only now, after 23 years of marriage, that I've decided to embrace the "girly" part of me. I even wear aprons while I cook.

Sorry for being lonwinded.It's mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02030081794655766175noreply@blogger.com
