I can tell from your posts that a burden has been lifted from your shoulders.<BR/>Right now, just "be", do what you need to do to take care of your mil and yourself. Don't worry about details like the stockings, and the notification, if you can possibly put it out of your mind. The only thing I might suggest is that you notify people in person if at all possible, or at least make sure they are not alone when you tell them. At that moment, just having someone to hold you makes a huge difference.
