Doubletakes

(click on any photo for an even closer look)
A stem of sunshine.

A closer look.

Closer yet.

Its neighbor leaning into the light.

Saffron petals spill from a crown of green.

An even closer look.
Soft down invites a touch...

I hope your day is full of doubletakes of the beauty found when looking closer.

Let us hold our Creator, our loved ones, our values and our freedoms close during these days. These are things that merit not compromising.
Just thoughts...

Have I told you lately that I love your photography? Well, I do. I totally do.

Thank you for the prayer. Goodness, we need it.

Love,
Lacy

That's beautiful! What a good photographer you are! Hopefully it will rub off. :-)

Oh...do you truly have sunflowers blooming already? They are my #1 favorite flower in the whole world. Pretty, pretty, pretty!!

Hey, have you had people copying your photos w/o permission lately? I'm just wondering about the new words you're putting across the pics.

Lacy!! thanks...wish I lived closer :)

Christy, I can't get enough of them. My garden isn't much to look at as a whole, but the individual parts I love :)

Carolyn, YES :) :)

Pam, thanks! I give the credit mostly to my camera (truly, I don't know an aperture from a mm)

Danni, hey!! Did you know my computer went out THE day before you left to go do the Habitat weekend...and was out for the better part of a month, ACK. I love the sunflowers, too...they have survived 3 freak freezes and still came through...in bins, not in the ground (i'll try that next). Yes, I've found some of my photos were taken by others, but moreso some other bloggers have been having that happen and I just decided to head it off at the pass myself. Is it too annoying? I didnt want to put the type right smack across the photo like some do, and prefer to keep it small and obscure. Still...is it distracting?
